This Dreo humidifier holds 6 liters of water, a capacity intended to reduce how often the tank needs refilling. The listed 60-hour runtime applies to its lowest output setting, so the actual duration between fills will vary with the mist level selected and the room conditions.

Quiet operation is a stated feature, with the unit rated at 28 dB. That low figure suits bedrooms and nurseries where fan or motor noise can interrupt sleep. Output settings let you raise or lower mist production, trading runtime for faster humidity delivery when a room feels especially dry.

The HM524 is designed as a bedroom-focused model in the 6L class. Its combination of a larger tank, extended runtime, and low noise targets overnight use rather than whole-home coverage. Placement, water type, and routine cleaning all affect how consistently it performs over time.
